No shipping. Trailer To Go is a rental marketplace, not a shop or a fulfilment centre. We do not hold stock, store trailers or ship anything. Each trailer stays with the rental business that lists it. The customer collects the trailer from the business at the booked time and returns it to the same place.
1. Where trailers are collected
Every listing shows the area of the rental business. After booking, the customer receives the collection details. The trailer is collected from the rental business’s address at the collection time chosen when booking.
Delivery and collection by drivers is not offered at the moment. If it is added later, this policy will be updated before it starts.
2. At collection
- The customer brings their driver’s licence and a vehicle that is able to tow the trailer, with a working tow bar and electrical socket.
- The customer and the rental business check the trailer together and take handover photos in the Trailer To Go app, so its condition is on record.
- If the trailer is not as described or not safe to tow, the customer should not take it, and should report it straight away with Report a problem on the booking (see our Refunds, Cancellations & Disputes policy).
3. During the rental
From collection until return, the customer is responsible for the trailer: towing it safely and lawfully, keeping it secure, and reporting any damage or breakdown to the rental business as soon as possible.
4. Returning the trailer
- The trailer is returned to the same address, by the return time on the booking, clean and empty.
- Both sides take return photos in the app. The rental business confirms the return, which completes the rental.
- The rental is priced per day: the day rate × the number of days, where every started 24 hours counts as a day. Keeping the trailer past the return time can therefore add a day at the trailer’s day rate. Customers who will be late should contact the rental business before the return time.
5. Damage and missing items
Damage, loss or missing items found at return are first raised with the customer by the rental business. If they cannot agree, either side can open a dispute on the booking, with photos, and the Trailer To Go team looks at the handover and return records.
