The Fleet Console is trailer rental management software, used on a computer at trailertogo.co.za. Your fleet, bookings, payments and revenue are live on one screen, so you always know how your business is doing — for the rentals you already do, including walk-in customers. It is free: there is no monthly fee.
On its own, the Fleet Console does not list your trailers on the Trailer To Go app. To get bookings from new customers as well, add the app platform.

Get bookings from customers near you
On the app platform, your trailers are listed on the Trailer To Go app and website. Customers near you find them, book the dates they need, pay online and collect the trailer from you. You manage it all in the Trailer To Go owner app on your phone.
There is no monthly fee. Trailer To Go keeps a 10% service fee on every transaction, and you receive the other 90%. Each withdrawal to your bank account costs R10, however much you withdraw.

How payments and withdrawals work
Customers pay for bookings online by card through our secure payment provider. Card details go straight to the payment provider — Trailer To Go never sees or stores them.
Your share of a booking is held safely until the rental is complete: the trailer is back and you have confirmed the return. It then shows in your earnings in the owner app. Withdraw it to your business bank account on request, or have it paid out every week. Each withdrawal to your bank account costs R10, no matter how much you withdraw.

An example only — you set your own day rates. The R10 is the same for any amount, so withdrawing several bookings together means you pay it only once.
Getting started on the app platform

Sign up as a rental business
Sign up on our website with your details, your business details, your ID document and your CIPC registration document (optional). We email you a code to confirm your email address. Then log in to the Trailer To Go app with the same email — it is one account.

Add your bank account
Add the bank account your earnings are paid into. It must be in your business’s or your own name.

List your trailers
Add each trailer with clear photos, its type, size and load capacity, the licence code needed to tow it, and your day rate.

Choose what customers see
Switch each trailer live online so customers can find and book it, or take it offline so only you can book it for walk-in customers. Block the days you need a trailer yourself; customers can only book open dates.

Customers book and pay
A customer books your trailer and pays the day rate × the number of days online. You are told straight away.

Hand over and get it back
The customer collects the trailer and you both take handover photos in the app. When it comes back, you confirm the return and rate each other.

Get paid
Your 90% shows in your earnings once the rental is complete. Withdraw it to your bank account on request or weekly, less R10 per withdrawal.
